Doug, I have noticed the same problem with the muzzle PE when I got at it. The notches should of course be on the opposite sides of the strip to interlock when assembled. However, since they are so thin, "massaging" them into place was not a problem. This area won't be seen under normal circumstances anyway. BTW, I recommend drilling out the 60 holes once the piece is properly fit and superglued into place.
The bigger minus I found to be the lack of skirt attachment locks that DML had already made for their 1/35 version. This was certainly not a technical issue (no undercuts or too complicated). I guess they jsut chose to omit those, thinking that all Braillers will build fully skirted E100s. Nada.
