Forums - Modelling / Smallscale

The construction forum is for the discussion of small scale AFV modelling. Usually this refers to 1-76th and 1-72nd scale AFVs.

Philip,
What is FOV? I never heard of that brand.

Several companies make 1/72nd tank crew figures, in particular, WW II Germans, but they are mostly in resin or white metal. I suggest paying a visit to the following site for lists of several companies and their products:

http://www.ontheway.org.uk/

My favorite brands are MIG, Goffy and Warriors, but there are other good ones as well. On the Links page at that site, there are several very good hobby shops listed that carry these brands.

The very best website around for 1/72nd scale figures is Plastic Soldier Review:

http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/

However, they only review plastic figures, and since most tank crew figs are resin or metal, that site is of limited use in this instance. But it's a good one to have bookmarked if you are into 1/72nd scale.

As for 1/144 figures, Pegasus Hobbies is working on several sets, though I don't think any have yet been released. You can check the following site to see in-progress photos of the master figures:
