Hi Matt,
I'm sure you probably have found out the answer to this by now, but I just got one of these kits yesterday, and yes, the rear hull plate has been redone with the access hatch. The tracks are also the new DS100 plastic. Other than a new turret, the kit is pretty much identical to their previous Model 1940 kit.
