Cookie confused my comments about track length. I said that the Stug IV tracks were too long, by about 2 lengths. It appears that the Hornisse tracks may actually be a little short, at least not allowing much if any sag. Removing the overlapping parts of the Stug IV track allows a decent butt joint since these tracks bond very well and eliminates the rather poor fitting overlapping joint. This still gives a decent amount of sag on the top run of tracks on the Stug IV. I haven't finished enough on the Hornisse to fully judge its' track situation. It does have a few problems. Part C11, holding 3 shells, is designated to be attached on the left side, but illustrated on the right side, with the reverse situation for part C12. Attachment of part D3 is never called out, but appears to go on the vertical rear plate in kit illustration 7. It actually is a horizontal step just above the muffler to avoid damage to the muffler and a "hot foot".
