I've built this model about four times so far (the 1/35th version, I presume, as you don't state) and found that the tracks are somewhat oversize. I just don't include the top run, as it's not visible anyway. I don't know if this is any comfort to you, but there you are.
Also, since the plates don't meet perfectly at the corners, I've always sanded off the detail there and re-riveted the sucker after filling and puttying. |
