The late drivers compartment does not have the slight slope on it. But this is easy to fix by sawing the top 99% off once the compartment has been fitted and the attaching again at the front and filling the small triangular spaces left at the sides.
I have another worry about the drivers compartment though. I think it has been squashed into too small a space. In photos the front plate of the compartment has a distinctive angle at the bottom of it which suggest that it fitted in front of the plate that fills the space between glasics plate and superstructure. However on the dragon models it has been modeled within this plate. What this means is that the hatch is squeezed into a space which is a couple of mil too narrow. I think that this mistake is also repeated in most diagrams I have seen.
