Yes you are right. Reading it again i see that the sprockets were changed to 9 teeth in may 1944 and the new turret came in june. The Rvell mantlet is an early one but I think it is a bit "smooth" at the rear so that is why I want to change it.
But in the book it says that in late june the rear hatch was changed from 15 to 400 mm thikness and the Esci hatch is thinner than the revell one. In the same paragraph it says that the hatch in the turret roof was cut straight through without a rim. Does this mean that the hatch was in line with the roof before? It also mentions that hangers for the spare tracks was added to the turret.
