Maybe an interesting topic will help...
I have often wondered why people build small scale armour, 1-72nd scale specifically. I built the old Matchbox, Esci and Airfix kits when I was a kid. I now build 1-35th scale only. I prefer the larger scale and the range of kits available. The smaller scale does not appeal to me, but I am probably basing this on the old kits.
I understand now that there are many new excellent 1-72nd scale models available from Revell, DML and Trumpeter.
What would you say to someone like me to convince them to try one of these new kits? Or, why _do_you_ prefer small scale?
