Forums - Modelling / Smallscale

The construction forum is for the discussion of small scale AFV modelling. Usually this refers to 1-76th and 1-72nd scale AFVs.

I prefer small-scale due to display space and build speed: I find that larger scales tend to draw me into the morass of AMS...

Which invariably leads to started but unfinished kits whilst I gather/research every possible referance or round up every last bit of "needed" detail to complete my build. Modeling then becomes work.

Meanwhile, a braille kit can be knocked out in a weekend, and the details can be "fudged" in this scale.

And, I can get a troop of AFVs in the space of a few larger kits.
