Paul if you like German Armor try the Dragon late Tiger 1 with zimmerit or the excellent Stug IV. The E100 is nice as well for a change of pace. Revell's Panzer IIIL is very nice having recently finished it. An article in a recent Military in Scale caught my eye and I decided to give it a try. I am pleased with the results.
I too build mainly 1/35th but I decided recently to build a few of these since as was pointed out they are fast, I don't tend to get bogged down in the details worrying about accuracy and I can knock one out in a few days to reduce stress. The small scale stuff won't replace my 1/35th but it does supplement it now along with the odd 1/48th kit. |
