After posting my reply i found this great build Hornisse on the Missing Linx forum:

Is it the way it always goes? Stop seeking for something and than find it....
In the middle of the front plate there is a small wheel. This is to guide the wire for the quick release mechanism for the travel lock of the Nashorn. But the Hornisse should not have this.
