Forums - Modelling / Smallscale

The construction forum is for the discussion of small scale AFV modelling. Usually this refers to 1-76th and 1-72nd scale AFVs.

You could piece it together from strips of PE part frames, Some of the thinner sets are easy enough to cut with a blade in to strips, Eduard for example. Heck, some of the part supports on the sheet might work.

The other would be to strip out the cope wire from an extension cord and seperate the individual wires and then flatten then with a hammer on a piece of sheet metal or an anvil. You could even crush them flat in a larger pair of PE folding pliers and then trim the arms to size

My only other suggestion would be to measure one out on .5 styrene and cut it out (fiddly, but it works)

Hope these ideas help!

David
