I have the NRC model. While I think the masters are well done, I think the quality of the kit wasn't so hot. There was a lot of flash, and it was at times hard to determine what was flash and what wasn't. Also mail-order was not so kind to it, and there were multiple broken pieces. I found the resin to be not-so-great, and while the major castings were nearly flawless, the resin was rather brittle and not easy to work with. And I may be mistaken, but it also looks like there was some shrinkage on the main hull.

I personally don't reccommend it, and in fact have been tossing around the idea of buying the RAFM wargaming pieces (which, according to some of my queries on wargaming boards, scales out to 1/72) and detailing it. Another option I'm going to look at is replacing the suspension and drive sprocket with parts sourced from other kits (i.e. tracks from the Hasegawa kit, suspension from Matchbox or Airfix if such a kit exists). Right now I'm on a big 1/48 kick so It'll be a while before I revisit this kit...

Damon.
