Hi Bruce,
The earliest KV with the 152mm gun was simply called Big Turret as opposed to the standard turret. Then, the 152mm cannon was changed and variations of the 76mm gun turrets appeared. During this time, the 152mm gun armed KV became known as the KV-2. There are several types of 152mm gun armed turrets (at least three off the top of my head).
