I echo the recommendation of Revell of Germany, with the caveat not the 1/76 which are the old Matchbox and the Sherman M4. The new Italeri are exquisite, especially the Sahariana, some of the old ESCI rebox, but not the T-62, half tracks or M1...road wheels are inaccurate!
The UM are very nice and inexpensive.
The Dragon's are nice but the single piece "rubber band" track has mixed reviews.
I think the Trumpeter and Eduard molding are not up to the standard of the Revell/Dragon/Italeri/UM kits.
Avoid the Attack kits, really rough.
I build only 1/72 and have bought or looked at almost all of the kits.
