It's that time of the year and I have not seen this question come up yet.

How has this year been for you all?
Has this been a good year for small scale?

For myself its been fine but not superb. I cannot spend as much on new kits due to the economy, so did not buy as many as in 2001. My collection overflows already though and I will have to live to 130+ years to build them all.
There has been some great kits released, and ESCI is back in Italeri form. I sence there have been fewer releases than in 2001 though? The internet continues to be a godsend to the hobby allowing us to communicate across the globe and have access model kits and references we never dreamed of ten years ago! On another hand, many of the local hobby shops are no more.
Track Link is back up!
My model skills have improved though I sence a modeling elite growing that frowns on a late war Panther in gray and on unscratched & un-chipped AFV's! Actually, this aspect has probably always been there.

Stephen
