There are two excellent articles in the latest issue of Steel Masters:
- on Hasegawa SdKfz 251/1 (3 pages)
- on Revell Tiger II with Part PE (4 pages)
both with excellent tips (actually a very complete step-by-step description) on painting and weathering.
I stopped buying Steel Masters in favour of Minitracks a while ago because of Steel Masters' low small scale content, but I couldn't resist getting this issue. Superb photographs of outstanding models!
Small scale is obviously on the rise, with more and more 1/35 modelers (and manufacturers of course) venturing into 1/72 as way to test their skills in a more demanding challenge, and I think magazines are or will soon be following this trend.
Happy modelling,
Michel |
