Forums - Modelling / Smallscale

The construction forum is for the discussion of small scale AFV modelling. Usually this refers to 1-76th and 1-72nd scale AFVs.

Your 'mysteriously deleted' comment may be a bit too harsh as there are still at least two lengthy threads about One the Way on Braille Scale.

Perhaps the removal of threads not specifically dealing with modelling small scale AFVs is necessary to keep costs down.

I don't agree with the 'preaching to the choir comment' and the manufacturers who pay well for advertisements in modelling magazines clearly don't either. The fact of the matter is that favourable articles, reviews and/or advertisements on line or in magazines contribute to sales. MMS regularly takes out full page advertisements in modelling magazines and they wouldn't still be in business if these advertisements didn't result in increased sales.

I do agree with your comment that it is very important to have people posting small scale reviews on line and in modelling magazines. I don't have the time to do this but I admire those who do contribute informative and motivational material.

I am not sticking up for the often heavy-handed management of Missing Links but our hobby needs all the forums and resources it can get. Of course, On the Way is one of those and I'm very glad you're back!

Any chance of more bird photographs?

David
