Hello Christophe,
I'm currently working on the sWS Panzerwerfer 42 and for the wheels, I
used the kit items reworked. I too bought the R&J wheels and didn't use
them because the molding plug went almost 1/2 way around the tire and it
would ruin most of the tread pattern that would be visible unless you
modeled one knee deep in mud or water.
I covered the sunken center hub with a punched out piece of plastic card
that fit between the lug nut bolt pattern. Then chucked the wheel
assembly in my dremel tool and used sandpaper to reshape the tire. While
not totally accurate, it's far better than what I started with and that
makes me happy.
I'll replace the Panzerwerfer 42 launcher with the same unit that's in
the Azmuit kit of the Opel version of the Panzerwerfer. Mine also will
show Rockets being loaded inside the vehicle now that I bought two
Verlinden Panzerwerfer 42 Rocket sets.
Regards,
Brandon |
