Steve,
I think someone has gotten under your skin! I would like to see more Allied stuff but also Italian and Japanese. I think you have missed the point most people, like myself, are trying to make when it comes to topic selection by the major plastic kit manufactures.
Just how many Tiger I kits do we really need? I think that Trumpeter should be applauded for what they have done. They are coming out with loads of stuff and not 1 1/35th Tiger, King Tiger or Panther. The KV series (a much needed update from the 30 year old Tamiya offerings), French Hotchkiss and a German subject that is not a Tiger, the Selbstfahrlafette (must be for a Volkswagen advertisement). Point being is that there is a lot of subjects other than the Tiger and Panther which the model makers could go bonkers.
Other point is the lack of dedication to detail and accuracy given to the big German cats on other subjects. Everyone marvels on how first Tamiya redid the Tiger I back in 1988. Than how Academy one upped Tamiya with an interior at less cost. Of corse recently AVF Club and DML have been doing the Tiger AGAIN as super kits. What did these companies do with the Sherman? Well Tamiya added a few bits and mated it to an older innaccurate lower hull and suspension to come up with a M4. Acadmy offers an inaccurate M4A2. DML tries to do the super thingy with the same M4A2 but seems to copy all the innaccurate parts from the Tamiya kit. So where as the companies go gangbusters with accuracy and detail with the German cats they offer token examples of other stuff.
So to conclude and rehash is offer something a bit more diverse. When and if you offer some other than another big German cat please give the same attention to detail and accuracy afforded to those kits. Now I have probably offended everyone out there that loves Panthers and Tigers
