Hi Rick,
Burnaby Hobbies in Burnaby is a good bet. SkyTrain runs to Royal Oak
station and it's about a two block walk west to Rumble Street. It's next
to the TD Bank.
Creative Hobbies in New Westminster is just up the hill from the
Columbia Street SkyTrain station (turn right leaving the station and
another right at the Post Office). It's three floors of hobby stuff but
the neighbourhood is kind of dodgy.
We're having a transit strike right now so there's no bus service but
SkyTrain (rapid transit) is still running.
There's another hobby store in North Vancouver but with no SeaBus
(passenger ferry is on strike too) it's rough to reach.
Forecast is a little rain Saturday morning. Nice Sunday.
Cheers
Bill Inglee
