| Subject: | How are the T-L'ers from the southern states? | |
| Date: | Aug 31, 2005 |

Greetings All,
I apologize if this post is off topic and rather on the somber side.
I am just hoping and praying that any and all T-L'ers (and anyone else) in the gulf states (i.e. Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida and anywhere else affected by Katrina) have made it safely out and can return to their normal lives as soon as possible. It would be nice to hear from any of them.
I visited New Orleans during Mardi Gras this year (and HAD to visit the D-Day museum as well...twice actually) and can say that the locals and all those we met along the way treated my friend and myself (a couple o' foreigners) with the greatest of warmth, hospitality and friendship (we made a number of friends down there and are seriously hoping to hear from them). We pray for their safety and the recovery of this most welcoming of regions.
I can only urge that those of us who can, will divert some of their modelling funds towards donations to the Red Cross relief efforts, I know I will.
Regards,
Nemanja. |
