| At school earlier today, a friend of mine showed me an e-mail from a New Orleans police officer who is a friend of his family...The letter was filled with just some of the worst stuff you could ever imagine...Rioting, looting, snipers, hostage situations (that's the tip of the ice berg...it got worse as I read it :-()...It just rips my heart out...tragic events should always bring out the best in people, but I can still understand them because of their plight...I have done what I can do...through my school and the Red Cross...Here's an image from something I saw a little while ago in a news article...over 20 of these oil rigs are still missing...I'm only showing it because the power of that storm is just still too hard to believe... |
