There was some review I did on here where I evaluated the item based on sound, general principles and included the nit-picks as sort of an appendix. I also noted that the nit-picks were included to inform and did not play into the rating of the kit. If you were review it "normally" then conclude with something like: "The following things are improvements I plan to make because I like to detail my models. The rating is based on the above text. The items below are really just for the hardcore modeler and the company really can't be blamed for not including them."
