Hi Paul,

That was "Tiger I on the Western Front", it was a picture showing a 95mm howitzer armed Cromwell being driven off by its new owners after Villers Bocage. The author suggested that the Cromwell was a British "Copy" of the Tiger I. The one with the Fort Knox King Tiger was "Tigers in Combat II". The problem with these comments is that the average reader will register the author's casual remark as "facts" without knowing better!

I own both books but I cringe each time I read the captions for the aforementioned pictures.

Of course the biggest offender was the "Tiger Ace" book, I actually bought it back when I first got back into the hobby. Needless to say it now sits on my shelf gathering dust!

Cheers!
