Subject:  Steve Zaloga Says Tamiya is Too good!List thread.

 Date:  Apr 8, 2001
 From:  Michael S. Wawrow
I just finished reading a recent article on a conversion Steve Zaloga (sp.)
did of a W.W.II U.S. tank destroyer.

In the article he mentions that he loves doing the conversions cuz Tamiya
kits that are being made today are (paraphrasing) "too "dam" good and can be
made straight outta the box with little or no modification".

Are you people in agreement with this statement?

Is this the end of model building as we know it?

MSW

PS I have yet to purchase a Dragon Wagon, Famo or the new Marder (these are
the kits I "assume" are being talked about)
