Some good ideas. The diorama thing in particular (but it would be a sod to re-classify those already submitted). I'm not a fan of cryptic titles (like those Verlinden vignettes- how much business do they lose because the product names are meaningless in a text catalogue). It does depend on how individuals choose to submit them though. There are a lot of dioramas in the gallery which, personally, I would consider single vehicles on a scenic base, hence, they'd be better in one of the nation catagories than Dioramas any way.
BLOGS- agree completely- and as more are added, the need for sub-catagories will grow.
Not sure about the collections idea. Why not just submit a gallery entry for each element of the collection. If it covers more than one gallery catagory, you could edit existing entries to add links and an explanation in the text.
Advertising- got to disagree with that one. As it stands, it's not too intrusive and I appreciate lifes commercial necessities, but I hate adverts and they would detract from my enjoyment of TL, in much the same way that a T.V advert for tampons rather breaks the mood when you're trying watching the World at War.
