It's very detailed, and reasonably even-handed in dealing with both the Panzers and the British tanks. It's a pity he hasn't written the promised 2nd and 3rd volumes.

Other than that, I think Osprey is your best bet. They seem to cover Allied and German armour subjects in equal depth.
