I am just about to enter into a najor reduction myself. I just moved (into a house with a smaller basement). When I packed all my models up I found I had from a cord and a half to two cords of models! For those of you no familiar with a "cord", it's a measurement of cut firewood, viz a stack four feet wide by four feet high by eight feet long, 3.6 cubic meters for you metric types. And that doesn't include the approximately 30 cu ft of "sale" kits I already boxed up!!

It's madness to think I'm going to be able - or want - to build all that stuff. I figure on unloading at least 50%. Why not get what I can and spend it something new?
