I am a Tamiya fan! I enjoy the excellent engineering and well done instructions. Model time for me has been limited these past two years so I prefer a quicker build. I have not looked to the 1/48th range at all and I am not really interested.

I too do not understand what is going on behind the doors of the "new kits room" at Tamiya. I am looking forward to my Stug II as well. Tamiya may be really gearing up for something in 1/35 we do not expect you know.

I am not too worried about the variants of one particular subject I would like to see more variety in what any manf. puts out. British Armour, IDF Armor and the like.I agree that Tamiya could have improved many of their kits for the love of pete could they have boxed in the sponsons on the Sherman kits?!

I hope Tamiya has not given up. I love'em and want more of 'em.
