Does anyone know how much of the B. series vehicle will be recycled in to the Flakpanzer kit? I'm not exactly familiar with the differences between the A and B models.

I can see Dragon's motivation, these small artillery pieces can't exactly be the most cost effective efforts like Tigers or othermainstream tanks and anything that can help reduce the cost of the mold and make a profit is something they will do (frankly, its been a benchmark of theirs for a long time it seems)

Artillery pieces and flak guns aren't going be sold in numbers like vehicles I would imagine and price points are probably considered more than with bigger efforts.

The Flakpanzer is probably a "best of both worlds" situation, its a vehicle for the kit with recycled part (pun fully intended), capitalizes on advertising of the Tristar kit and helps reduce the unit cost per item for the 30mm Flak.

The point made that people will adhere to certain brands is a good one in my opinion.

I suspect we will see a few more early Mk.IV kits as time goes on for example and probably a few kits using the Flak as well.

Now if they would just take a hint from their own playbook, get off their duff and release that M4A2 Okinawa kit they keep on life support in their catalogs ~_^
