My wife has been instructed that, contrary to her deeply held beliefs, my models do have some retained value so:

One of my friends at the local club will be chosen as "executor" of the "model estate" and his job will be to liquidate the collection for as much as he can get for it.
- Built models will be offered to local museums in exchange for tax receipts.
- Unbuilt models will be auctioned off through Ebay first and then unsold models will be sold at tables at local shows.
- My reference book collection will be sold off just like the models.

Notwithstanding her deepest desire to rent a dumpster, pile the whole lot in and set it ablaze (possibly with my body inside in a Viking funeral sort of thing), She will probably contain herself to stomping on a few of them, keeping a few of them and then trying to get back what little retained value there is in the rest. :-)

We're not having issues. After 20 years together it is the agreed upon state of our long standing cease fire regarding my hobby and both sides are quite fine with it, thank you. :-)
