The prices have risen a bit...for example, the stated MSRP of a DML Tiger I initial production (the regular one) was approximately $32 US, and gradually, the MSRP has risen for DML kits (it's like $42 US now)...When I worked part time at a hobby shop last summer, I remember that the prices went up and the owner was freaking out that he was selling the kits to cheap (they were about $32 and the price change was to like $35).....

Steve, AFV club kits are cheaper for you?! WTH! On average, they are a bit more expensive here...though, it's cheaper to buy online ;-) (no taxes, but I know Uncle Sam will come after me, even if I am 'student exempt')

David,
Steve's in Australia....
and
Winston is right...it's basic economics...Dragon set the prices relatively low, without really hurting themselves, and there is a massive demand and I'm sure that demand is just as big as it was a year ago, even with a 30% increase over the last year....they're probably reaching equilibrium, although that's hard to tell...even at an MSRP of $42, companies like Spruebrothers or Greatmodels can sell at $32 and that's pretty good...shoot, $42 is pretty good all things considered....thank God for eBay though ;-) because then, you can get a nice DML kit for like $25 or w/e lol
