The point of the thread was not to encourage people to buy products from my local hobby shop but to see if DML had bumped up their product prices or if my hobby local shops had decided to increase costs themselves. Last year a DML Tiger cost me around $50AUD now they are up above $70AUD. The increase in 3 months is just over 30% or 10% a month (quite a lot I think).
When considering the cost as cheap the cost of living has to be factored in and as the $AUD is around 3/4 that of the $USD so is our incomes (for most that is :-)).
Big jump in cost for no apparent reason has me scratching my head and reminds me of the “how much does this cost?” “Why, how much have you got on you?” story :-).
