2 days is kinda short - give them a week at least. It also depends on the methods of payment you allow - if it is something by check or money order than some people drop the payment in the mail and never give you a heads up and/or don't check e-mail that often. Also, some people wait until payday - maybe they will get paid Friday and then contact you.
If you want, take a look at the sales terms on some of my current auctions (see link below). They have worked well for me, feel free to copy them if you want. I would consider myself succesful on ebay with over 1000 total feedback and 99.8% positive!
