How can a company,as brain-dead as Tamiya,survive in the 1/35th scale market.They fail to capitalize on existing assets,which is a huge business mistake.Things they could do for little out-lay and big profit:Sdkfz 233/263,Sdkfz 260/261,CCKW gasoline tanker/mobile workshop/office/352,1/2 track with 75 pack/field gun,105,Israeli arv/crane,APC,Soltam mortar,etc.Get the picture?

The powers-that-be will,in all probability, come back from a brain-wracking session and re-tool their 88.Good choice. Can't have enough of those around. And I know you'll love to see their new Cent after AFV Club,Academy and Trumpeter do theirs.

The problem,as I see it,is that they don't get it.Maybe 10 % of modelers will purchase all of the resin conversions for these kits;another 5 % may do the conversion themselves. The other 85 % of modelers will move on to another plastic kit. And,no,most won't buy 3 different 88's.Of course,I have no facts to substantiate this, but I'm inside the ball-park,inside the diamond..............Dan
