Subject:  DML have in for all Asian competitorsList thread.

Mike,

I think DML has it in for all Asian competitors. I also think they are underpricing thier kits until they are the dominate armor model company in Asia. They duplicate all the new AFV Club kits. Have duplicated several Trumpeter kits (but they are difficult to undercut prices also being from China), have duplicated (though nicely updated) several Tamiya kits and as you mentioned duplicated Tristar. It seems that the only Asian companies they haven't duplicated and undercut prices are Academy and Skybow. Seems that DML doesn't see Academy as honest competitors as Skybow doesn't seem to be widely available and Academy's production of new kits is low and quality as far as accuracy goes is questionable. I almost forgot Tasca/Bego but thier prices are so high and new kit production so low that DML may feel they won't be around for long. After all the underpricing DML may drive off the competition and then watch the prices soar!
