Ugh, the nasty "o word" creeps into my hobby again. I find no problems with such scenes, personally.

"Offensive" is such a subjective thing. One person's "offensive content" is another person's "historically relevant content". If you start with one particular entry, how many more will have to be "reviewed"? What content gets "reviewed"? Blood and gore only? Nudity, too? What about Swastikas, some people, nay some countries, find them completely offensive and illegal to display. Where does it stop?

However, to keep the whining at somewhat of a minimum, I would suggest putting some sort of an advisory about such content in the Gallery section, to cover the entire Gallery. Nothing fancy, no need for detailed descriptions, just something as simple as:

"This area of Track-Link may contain scenes, symbols, or depictions of human activity that may offend some viewers and/or may also be inappropriate for children. Viewer discretion is advised."

Yes, I write for the government as part of the daily grind.

If indeed the decison comes down to handle such content (ugh), I strongly suggest that it be made part of the Gallery as a whole. If you try to do it on a per-entry basis, that just invites cries of "discrimination" and other such nonsense. At least if it's there over the entire Gallery, no one can say they were blindsided. Also, no one can claim their entry is being persecuted because the "warning" is on the entire Gallery. If people see the warning, go to the Gallery anyway, and still get offended, they have no defense.

Here's hoping the Thought Police stay away for awhile longer...
