Sigh.

I often wonder at the LACK of blood and gore in so many vignettes. Take for example the diorama of the Polish cavalry charging tanks that was so popular a few years ago. How is it that there aren't bits flying off the horses and riders as they're hit by 20mm shells? Imagine those exit wounds...

Blood and gore are present in battles. Read about Towton in 1461, the Charge of the Light Brigade, or any ship to ship battle of the Age of Sail.
