Andrew,
I wish I was able to structure English to the high standard you can but I’m like Brian T. as we both struggle to get our hands around it properly :-).
The KV-2 is a great kit that’s easy to build and as your second tank it would be nothing you couldn’t tackle (rubber band tracks or sectional link to link is a big plus for you).

The Sturer Emil is also something very easy for the beginner to negotiate and you cant go wrong there too.

Tamiya’s Panzer 4 “D” would be something to consider as well as a “golden oldie” or the Flak 88.
