R.C.,

I have to agree with you. I find the Royal Model things overpriced for what you get. I have 4 of their set: 1) SdKfz 222 interior (nice but for what you get WAY over priced) just because I could find no one else that makes it, 2) Wespe gun shields, given to me by a friend, 3) M13/40 update was the only one around when I bought it and 4) M26 Dragon Wagon drive chains, bought out of curiosity, no one else makes it and really expensive for what you get. I agree with you that the North American market may not be the ideal site for the expense of Royal Model accessories.

Model Victoria (another Italian company) is also similar (is tha spelled correctly? Paul get spell check!) in that the material is expensive. I must say that I am more satisfied with what I have bought of Model Victoria in that the parts are very well researched, mostly resin cast and cast very well and subject that no one else seems to do (my Fiat Topolino on Track-Link as an example). So maybe it's the poor Italian economy that I have heard isn't doing well right now.

Whatever it is, I agree with you. The value of the material doesn't match the cost as far as Royal Model products in my opinion.
