| In the 70s I mostly painted 1/285 scale micro armor. I did build Tamiya's old Tiger II sometime near 1980. It was a crude job and IIRC it ended up being target practice. While I was stationed on Okinawa in the early 80s I build an M1 Abrams, T-62 and a Chieftain tank. They were very basic builds with no weathering at all. They suffered a painful death at the hands of cargo movers during a PCS. I didn't pick up another piece of micro armor or a model for over ten years. |
