Maybe it's not so much that German is fading but that there are so many more areas to follow. I mean that WW2 only proucd so many variety of German and Allied tanks. Over time we've added Korea (OK there is not much dedicated to Korea), Vietnam, and now ODS, OIF and OEF puss adversaries. Who knows what campaign will be next and what new subjects are released.

Plus some will be getting to the age where those who lived during WW2 will be passing away. Those of us who grew up to WW2 movies will be lesser in numbers. We will have a whole slew of nextgen modellers who will be growing up with Blackhowk Down, Over There, Navy Seals, etc.
