Just wondering who builds a collection of related vehicles. While most people build a collection of tanks, etc. that are from one country and period, such as German WW2, British, etc. does anyone build a collection of similar vehicle types?
That is no matter what country and period the subject is the commonality is the type of vehicle. A good example would be a collection of recovery vehicles. Or Shermans: seeing how the Sherman was modified by different users is interesting.
I am interested in reconnaissance vehicles and build (or buy :-) a lot of those. The DML Sd.Kfz.234/1 being the most recent. I find it interesting how each country approached the same type of vehicle.
Does anyone else try to build up similar collections?
