I admit that I leand towards the building aspect (I like Alex Hill's observation about building is for the head and finish is for the heart). The modifying, correcting and the necessary research behind it attract me. However part of this is the fact that I'm not yet very satisfied with my painting abilities.
I used to very much enjoy my 1/72 aircraft projects due to my proficiency at both building and finishing them. However, the 1/35 scale and the aspect of weathering present challenges that I don't feel I've quite mastered. Oh well. Gotta keep trying. I'm about to subject my M4A1 with T1E3 Minerollers to the airbrush any day now.... |
