Hi.

I've been surprised how many people think that building tanks and figures is not uncool. I realize that is not exactly 'cool', but a lot of people seem to appreciate the detail in the work and the patience required. So the reactions I've received are either disinterest (but not active derision) or a mild form of kudos.

Maybe because I'm older...

Whenever students learn about my hobby I seem to find out they have or do paint Warhammer stuff!

Ad to the comments about tolerance for other points of view, and reasonable comments, I must say TL has generally been pretty good about this. The users here seem to have some sense! We can agree to disagree at worst. I assume that in general modellers are slightly more well read than the average person, given we tend to research what we build. It's hard not to be exposed to different points of view when researching history.

Cheers
Andy
