The internet has affect my modeling both for good and bad.

The Good:

All kinds of reference available
Questions can get answered
What's available in terms of items - i.e. aftermarket stuff, kits
Meeting of fellow modelers/clubs/shows - otherwise I would of remained a 'closet modeler'.
Exposure to different techniques

The Bad:

My limited modeling time is impacted by checking the sites (though I do try and do most of that during the work hours).
IM and other similar programs about a decade ago, kept me in the computer room chatting with modelers vs building.
Not all critism is constructive
Money - I now spend more dollars on kits than I did before Track Link came out as I know know more of whats available to purchase.
The Wife can find out easier what you 'really' spent for that item.
