Most want to pay little more than the cost of kit and materials and will try to low ball you on the cost of labour.

I had one fellow that honestly thought that $100 for a build Tamiya 1/12 motorcycle was more then enough. That included me providing the kit and paint!

A friend who has done a lot of commission work, no longer takes inquiries from modellers very seriously.
