| I just started selling my built models on Ebay. I litterly dont have any place to display them, and I just hated to throw them in a bin and stuff them in the garage. Plus this will allow me to finiance my hobby. As for shipping, I have woodworking tools, so I build wooden boxes that the models go in. They are screwed down to a block that is screwed down to the base. This elevates the tracks off the base and keeps the model firmly in place. Then the wooden box is packed inside a larger cardboard box with bubble wrap. I have not had any damage yet. In fact I get more positive comments on the boxes than the models, not exactly sure if thats a compliment or not;) |
