War has always fascinated me. It has ever since I was a boy watching "World at War" on PBS. I hate war but there is no greater study of humanity at its best and worst than the study of mankind at war.
To me the heart of war has always been on the ground, and nothing dominates the ground like a tank. Those WW II clips of tanks rolling by captured my imagination. I owned my first tank reference book at age 12. It took me three years from that time to discover micro armor, and not long after that to build my first 1/35 scale tank. |
